Fundraisers for Preschools and Parent Organizations
Yourpicturebook.com offers fundraising opportunities for Preschools and other non-profit Parent Organizations to support educational funds while benefiting the children in each community. We offer 2 different personalized children’s books for the parents to purchase, and a portion of the proceeds to go back to your school or organization. It is a great way to offer a personalized and educational product to the children, while helping supporting your financial obligations.
Children love to see themselves in their own book. It encourages reading, boosts self esteem, and is a great way financially benefit your organization!
The books are personalized for each child, including a photo on each page converted to look like a painting of the child, which blends with the books illustrations. The children see and hear about themselves acting out their own adventure on each page of the book. Again, we have 2 books available, one is designed for children ages 1-4, to assist on counting objects and identifying numbers. The process is simple:
- Contact a representative at Yourpicturebook.com to set up fundraising dates. (link to contact info)
- Order forms will be provided to the organization by Yourpicturebook.com to distribute to the parents.
- Collect orders and pictures to Yourpicturebook.com (call representative to have a photographer take pictures for the Preschool free of charge – only applicable to some locations).
- Yourpicturebook.com sends books to the organization to distribute to the parents.
- Fundraising check is mailed to the organization.

Memory Book for Schools
Yourpicturebook.com offers a what we call a Memory Book (basically a yearbook) to allow schools to compile and display the year’s pictures of activities, parties, classes, and other fun events. The memory book is a great way for the school to show off the year’s special moments to the parents and to give the parents a lifelong keepsake of their children’s preschool years. Each class can choose to have their own book with class pictures or a book for the entire school. There are many options to choose from, an 8 1/2 x 11 hardback or paperback book in either color or black and white. Prices vary based on book chosen and number of pages. Educational Benefits
Children have been enjoying personalized children’s books since the 70’s, but only recently have we come to realize the educational benefits of personalized children’s books. Studies have shown that personalized books are not only entertaining, but tend to promote literacy and education, as well.
Children, like all of us, learn best when they are focused and interested in what they are being taught. Because personalized children’s books are so instantly familiar to children, they become drawn into the story, and less aware of other things that may normally be distracting. In other words, they become focused and interested, which is a great combination when children are going through their learning process.
